Oy Insalko Ab is an enterprise founded in 1952 specializing in technical trading. The company has an annual sales volyme of around 18 milj. euros. Insalko is based in Helsinki, Finland.

The company operates in the following fields of technology:

Communication

Insalko imports and distributes digital radio terminals and ATEX-approved TETRA mobile terminals produced by the world's leading independent TETRA manufacturer. Clients in the field include both central and local government agencies which are authorized to use the VIRVE network.

We also supply smaller scale TETRA systems with their own DTEs (Data Terminal Equipment). Clients include private sector companies which require an economical, TETRA-based digital radio network.

Our range of VHF, UHF, Maritime-VHF, aviation and hunting radio communication products as well as HAM radio products have been designed both for professional and leisure use. Clients include central and local government institutions, airports, transport companies, industrial enterprises, the merchant navy, leisure sailors and radio amateurs.

Machinery

We import and supply slew bearings, rings, worm gears, gears, couplings and gearboxes for mechanical engineering as well as for the steel and shipbuilding industries.

Process

We import and supply a wide range of high pressure pumps, tooth gear pumps, piston pumps, compressors, homogenizers, separators, and filters for the oil refinement, chemical, foodstuffs and paper industries.

Paper and Pulp

Insalko represents and acts as the import agency to a range of wet and dry wires, ceramics and suction boxes. We also represent wire and felt guides and tensioners. Our range of products includes a number of special filters and pumps for paste, chemicals and water as well as screw presses and thickeners for the collection of reject and waste fibres.
